Exciting Announcement
Hi Everyone,
I would like to make two very exciting announcements about some restructuring that has occurred within our company.
Susan Bailey has been promoted to the position of Vice President Sales for Skyline Boutique Hotels and Resorts. Susan has been with Skyline for over a year and a half and has demonstrated her exceptional leadership abilities to manage a successful sales team. Effective immediately she will oversee our downtown hotels and the Inn at Horseshoe, including rooms, conference, catering and events. Susan will be responsible for all Sales Managers and Coordinators and for creating and implementing sales strategies that will increase revenue and profitability for our growing portfolio of Skyline properties.
In addition, effective immediately, Tom Vlachos has been promoted into the role of Regional Director of Revenue Management. Tom will be responsible for all revenue management of Pantages, Cosmopolitan and The Inn at Horseshoe. Tom has proven his abilities to successfully control the hotels room revenues at our downtown hotels and we trust that by including The Inn at Horseshoe into his responsibilities will work to increase rates at the Inn and our market share in the Barrie, Simcoe and Collingwood area.
Christine Jamieson, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations will now include our downtown properties into her portfolio. Christine has done a great job in the last ski season at Horseshoe since she joined the company. We trust that with Christine aboard, all three properties will streamline into one image under the umbrella of Skyline Boutique Hotels and Resorts.
Skyline believes that centralizing all the properties under one sales department and one marketing department will help us all focus on our goals, following one strategy towards positioning our company as a leader in the hospitality market.
